“How my life influenced my art, and how my art influenced my life": The Duality of Creation with Luisa Duarte

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my friends at Womble Bond Dickinson in Houston, Texas, for graciously inviting me to share my journey as an artist and immigrant during their April Sweet Talk event. It was an extraordinary opportunity to explore the influences shaping both my art and my life.

Under the title “The Duality of Creation: How my life influenced my art, and how my art influenced my life,” I had the privilege of guiding the audience through my cultural background and the experiences that have defined my journey from Venezuela to the USA. This event served as a poignant reminder of the continual evolution inherent in both art and life.

I'm deeply appreciative of the chance to connect with such a diverse and engaged audience. Sharing my story was a profoundly enriching experience, and I am thankful for the opportunity to foster dialogue and connection through my art.

Details of the visit and presentation were graciously captured by Azie S. Aziz, Ph.D. at Womble Bond Dickinson.
