Alternate Pathways Karen Navarro (www.karennavarroph.com) and Luisa Duarte (www.luisaduarte.com) are pleased to announce the opening of a multidisciplinary art show, presenting five Houston based artists: Celan Bouillet, Luisa Duarte, Hedwige Jacobs, Karen Navarro, Eduardo Portillo About the Show Alternate Pathways is a visual art exhibition, artist-centered and driven. An event that highlights the diversity of both Houston and the artists involved. For the first time, five artists (under the leadership of Karen Navarro and Luisa Duarte) are working together to stimulate dialogue and cross-cultural understanding through their individual artistic voices. As they collaborate, the hope is to foster artistic alliances among the artists through personal and professional growth and to give Houston a powerful, diverse yet aesthetically and thematically cohesive visual art experience.
