Alternate Pathways is an artist-centered and -driven visual art exhibition that highlights the diversity of both Houston and the artists involved. For the first time, five artists (under the leadership of Karen Navarro and Luisa Duarte) are working together to stimulate dialogue and cross-cultural understanding through their individual artistic voices. As they collaborate, the hope is to foster artistic alliances among the artists through personal and professional growth and to give Houston a powerful, diverse yet aesthetically and thematically cohesive visual art experience.

Luisa Duarte and Karen Navarro are pleased to present a multidisciplinary art show, highlighting the work of five Houston based artists: Celan Bouillet, Luisa  Duarte, Hedwige Jacobs, Karen Navarro, Eduardo Portillo.
